Doesn't that stress level figure depend on the circumstances at the time as well? My husband had dementia and died from complications of COVID. While I didn't measure it, I would guess mine would be in the high category even though I was over 65. I wonder what the figure would be for people in a next category like 66 to 85.
Absolutely, individual circumstances play one of the most important roles in stress. Any survey like this, representing averages, won't reflect such detail (though the link in the post goes to the actual survey results, where there is a lot more detail). As for the older age groups, while they are not stress free in the aggregate, older people do report lower levels of stress and higher levels of happiness and life satisfaction.
